We helped launching the new bio-circularity footwear brand, SOLK, as a scandinavian PR partner.

Swiss SOLK is a new sneaker brand redefining bio-circularity in footwear by designing stylish, high-quality shoes that can be fully composted.

Every part of SOLK’s value chain is built around the philosophy of creating footwear that combines premium design and craftsmanship with minimal environmental impact. This is achieved through the use of fully bio-circular materials - down to the smallest detail - and a unique end-of-life takeback system that ensures the shoes never have to end up in a landfill. All shoes are produced in SOLK’s own factories, allowing for complete control over materials and production methods.

SOLK made its official debut at Copenhagen Fashion Summit 2025 during an event at Mogens Dahl Concert Hall in Copenhagen. Here, the brand unveiled its first model while founder David Solk presented the vision behind the project to an audience of international profiles, industry professionals, and select guests. During Copenhagen Fashion Week, SOLK also hosted a press breakfast event at Apollo Bar, inviting media to experience the future of compostable sneakers firsthand.

Goodrel served as Nordic PR partner for the launch in collaboration with berlin based Studio MM04 and together we secured coverage in outlets such as Vogue Business, Vogue Scandinavia, British GQ, GQ Brazil, Børsen, Fashion Forum, Café Magazine, and King Size Magazine. The brand has also been featured in newspapers and magazines such as Frankfurter Allgemeine, Reflawn, Fashion United and many more industry media outlets.

We helped curating guest lists, managed invitations to industry leaders, influencers (from micro to macro influencers globally) and to press profiles during Copenhagen Fashion. We also provided strategic communications support throughout the brand- and product launches, in collaboration with Studio MM04, Astral and other actors involved.
